You need not own a study Bible to participate in the class; we will have plenty of study Bibles available for you to use. The class is especially designed for persons who are taking or considering taking Disciple Bible study but is beneficial for anyone who wants to make the time spent in Bible study more productive. The presenter will be Dave Meixner, an experienced Disciple Bible study leader and Second Cup Cafe facilitator. The format provides for plenty of hands-on exercises designed to build confidence and proficiency in selecting and using a study Bible. All participants will receive a seminar workbook to keep so you can review at home what we cover in the seminar.
So, can you take it? Yes, but first you must sign up. The seminar will be Saturday, September 14, from 9:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Lunch will be provided. We have about twelve seats available for this offering, so sign up early by adding your name to the list on the information table or by contacting the church office to be added to the list. If you need more information or have questions, contact Dave Meixner (301) 498-1728 or email@example.com.
