Getting Involved in Discipleship

There are many ways to become involved in discipleship at First UMC. The most important, of course, is to become involved in a class yourself.

Beyond that, Debbi Schneider will be happy to help you get involved in teaching Sunday School classes or facilitiating other small groups. If you have taken a Disciple Bible Study class you may want to consider volunteering to teach a group. Speak to Dave Meixner or Judy Sinkovitz about those opportunities. Vacation Bible School is a huge project, and Linda Ryan always can always use more volunteers to help with VBS.

Discipleship Meeting Dates for 2009

• March 21, 2009 (Annual Cleanup-Cleanout day)
• June 20, 2009
• August 15, 2009
• October 17, 2009

We meet at 9am and the meetings are usually complete by 11:30AM
