FUMCL: In His Name Coffeehouse

The In His Name Coffeehouse at the First United Methodist Chruch of Laurel is an occasional opportunity to relax with food, coffee, and friends and listen to live contemporary Christian music. Folk music, rock music, sometimes loud, sometimes quiet, but it's never dull. Best of all it's free. There's no cover charge and even the food is free. (If you enjoyed your stay you're welcome to make a donation to keep the music playing and the doors open, of course.)

With your support and prayers, In His Name has become a favorite to see and hear some of the best Christian acts in the Baltimore-Washington Area.

Check out our past events. We are not currently scheduling new events. While popular, the coffeehouse required considerable resources even for our limited schedule. We may provide some coffeehouse-like events in the future, but unless we can find an operating model that is more sustainable, we will not be able to continue a regularly scheduled event.
