Relay for Life
We all have probably known someone who has battled cancer, or maybe we’ve battled it ourselves. In a church family like ours, we have prayed for and walked along side many people who have had cancer. Some survived and some didn’t, but all discovered that cancer doesn’t take away from the abundant life we have in Jesus Christ.
To provide much needed funds for cancer treatment and a cure, we participate every year in the Relay for Life held at McCullough field here in the city of Laurel. Our own “Team Barracuda” has a strong, very creative presence there. And they can always use team members to help raise funds and to be a part of the walk.
